"BLACK CANARY" COSTUME SAMPLE FOR SIMPLICITY PATTERNS
While working for Theresa LaQuey, a couture dressmaker and patternmaker for Simplicity Patterns, I have had the opportunity to assist in the production of several pattern packages of her design.
Here I made the finished costume sample for her pattern “Black Canary,” a DC comics superhero. Because this sample was to be featured on a model on the pattern envelope, I had to stitch it with absolute care and precision.
